The entire country wanted to impeach Clinton for doing what every normal male on the planet is guilty of (but had no bearing on this great country of ours), yet we continue to allow Bush to remain in office to provide even more damages, not only to our country, but to our citizens...well, at least most of us!

I have to respond to an answer re:our constitution: Criminal acts are not the only reason for starting impeachment procedures. If it is found that our commander in chief does not have our country's best interest at heart, they can be started as well. We need to reflect on the WMD issue, the pretense of the Iraqui war, the fact that 1/3 of his adminstration has resigned (we all know why), and, that as early as just this AM, two more of his own political party members have opposed his decisions re: the Iraqi war. As far as Clinton, I am well aware as to why impeachment proceedings were begun....my point (as Mary W has seen - thank you Mary for understanding) is that Bush's disasterous choices which have affected us all, far outweigh Clinton's. My intent, as is most everyone's) is not to debate...just to voice an opinion.

He should have been impeached long ago. It would have also saved some lives. Look at these two websites below and help in doing something about it.

He should not be impeached. He hasn't done anything wrong. He is a great president. I have supported him since he was voted in 2000 LEGITIMATELY (despite what doomsayers and anti-Bush fanboys say).

Has there been an attack on US soil since 9/11? NO. We're defeating our enemies. Yes, our troops our dying - but always remember - people die for a good reason. Look at WW2 - The Japanese attacked us, we fought them - now we've helped rebuild the country years later and are allied with them.

In years from now - be it 10,20, 30 or even 50 - what Bush has done will be a good thing. You just don't see it yet - just like people didn't see it in WW2 or any other time of war.

He's made his mistakes, but his hearts in the right direction. Right now he is probably the most disliked person in the world. But does that hold him back? No. He does what he think is right for his people and country - and THAT my friend, is a President. Overcoming the odds and doing your best.

Take it for what it's worth.

It seems you don't know what is in our Constitution. A president can only be impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors. The House has to make the charge. Presently, the Democrats hold the majority. Can you figure out why impeachment charges have not been made? The President is not guilty of any crime.
Mr. Clinton was guilty of many criminal acts. Lying under oath cost him a loss in the law suit brought by Paula Jones. He lost his law license.
Getting oral sex in the Oral Office was a classless thing to do. He was not convicted of any crime there.

Impeachment can only be brought forward for a crime. Since President Bush has not committed any impeachable offensives, it won't happen. Our "hate all things Bush" Democratically controlled Congress would have already brought up charges if there were any.
Clinton was not impeached for his actions with Monica, he was impeached for committing perjury, by lying under oath to a grand jury which is a federal offense.

Impeachment is a wierd term for politics as usual in Washington, DC. Now get this Clinton was impeached for having sex w/ Monica Lewinsky and lying to congress and the American people. They did not have enough votes to remove him from office ( I think they lacked 1 vote). Now we have the chimp - he also lied to congress and the American people about the war in Iraq and Afghanistan and WMD in Iraq (he swore by CIA intelligence reports). Now, as I see it, both are liars and BOTH deserved impeachment. Can anybody see the bullsh*t that is on-going between both parties here? It took millions of dollars to impeach Clinton but even though everybody knows the chimp does nothing but lie, there are no plans for impeachment. Why is that???

Many people believe he should have been impeached by now, although he has not done anything that he could be impeached for (if he had I believe the Democrats would have at least brought it up by now). Clinton was impeached for his lies to congress under oath (notice how deftly Bush has avoided being under oath in front of congress? there is reason for it). Then too is the truth that if Bush was impeached, Cheney would then be the President. ( Not a situation anybody really wants to be in). SO be careful what you wish for.

Why do you think clinton was impeached for having sex? He lied to the court system. I have never done that nor do I want to. Bush has broken no laws, therfore no impeachment. You need to get your facts right before you spout off.
