Same thing here, had horrible social skills so bad that even standing in line at a grocery store I would have to just leave and couldn't get what I needed to get because I couldn't even say hello to the lady or even face her. I had the fear that I was always being watched, like someone was outside my window or that there were cameras everywhere I was. I couldn't do anything alone yet at the same time couldn't be near anyone. But it gets better, I thought I was a hopeless case and that I could never over come any of this but Im doing great now. I still someone times get some of the irrational fears but they aren't as bad and I can fully deal with them and they pass. I thought I was crazy like that I had to be put in a ward or something but to my shock it was severe anxiety which I fully doubted when my doctor told me this. I thought no this isnt anxiety is so much worse than that but nope just good ol' anxiety. These fears like the ones you have described are so much more common than you think, most are just really talented at hiding it. You arent alone, the majority of us have a fear of living alone usually when it comes to the age of 16, this is when it really starts setting in that we will have to one day live alone. Because we have never done this before it is a very real fear. It is hard, not easy and you will fall down more than once but you just gotta pick yourself back up again, everyone EVERYONE goes through this. When having the fears you describe it feels so serious and horrible but one thing to remember (what helped me) is it cant kill us, talking to someone wont cause death, cooking wont kill you, people aren't watching you, people dont judge you the way you think they do, life isnt death. Seeing my doctor about this helped dramatically, I can do public speeches, I have two jobs that both involve work with people one is I work at a daycare (which would terrify me before) and I train dogs (which seemed like impossible before) I do volunteer work, have plenty of great friends and I'm just simply not fearful anymore. Nothing is going to change untill you do the work to change it. And in the end it is completely worth it. Its hard work, you may go back to your fearful ways when you start making progress but you just gotta keep going and keep trying, when I was working through it i went back and forth a couple times but now its mostly all forth. One thing that seems small and obvious is just once you start to feel yourself getting these feeling is just saying in your mind or outloud "I just dont care" in an uncaring voice and take a deep breath and repeat, having control over your mind is such a reward. I strongly suggest you speak with your doctor about this, I feel it is severe anxiety and this problem can be solved. Your not crazy and you can do this.

Currently I live at home. I would rather live alone cause Id feel safer and have my own space and freedome. This sucks here. I lock myself up in my room. And pretend its my own apartment. Oh well maby someday.
