Obviously this man doesn't care what anyone thinks of him.
But the extremes he goes to.
Like claiming the V.P. office is not part of the executive branch.
Seriously, do you think this guy has a real personality disorder.
I have been around people who do, and they do sometimes act out in narcissistic or belligerent ways.
I'm not saying I think he is, but it could be considered.

Cheney is anything but an idiot. However his being evil is open to debate. I have always felt that Cheney really runs things behind the scenes.

Cheney and Bush know they are under attack and are circling the wagons to fend off inquiries into corruption, and horrible anti-people, pro-corporation policies. These self-serving policies are morphing the United States into a series of corporate empires, where the interest of the people fall far behind corporate profits. What else would you expect from the former CEO of Halliburton, the corporation that was awarded obscenely lucrative no-bids contracts in Iraq?

As Cheney promotes the Republican empire, they realize they have been discovered, yet they are emboldened by the likes of the blind, unquestioning support that you are witnessing in this posts and elsewhere on Y/A. They must be saying to themselves: "Yeah, we only serve ourselves and the rich of this country, we have been discovered ... but, we are thugs ... we can get away with anything"

Hence the pro-Cheney posters you see here, unless they earn $300,000 are to a large extent, victims themselves of Bush / Cheney policy ... their kids and grand kids will be paying for this administration long after the conservative rich and elite have cashed out ... yet these posters blindly support the man without question or conscience.

Good question. Cheney is obviously a power maniac, and believes that he is above the law.

To have the unbelievable arrogance to say that the V.P. is not part of the Executive Branch so that he can avoid producing documents, is a sure sign that he is hiding something important.

He's done this before, when he was asked to give info on Energy meetings he attended under FOI, and he refused.

We used to ask, Is he conceited, or convinced? My money is on arrogant and convinced hes the Ruler of the Universe.
No one can question him, his work is done in secret, even the president obeys laws he has decided he doesn't have to.
Maybe if the whole pack of those wolves respected the Constitution they swore to obey, we would n't be in any of the miserable situations we are in today.

He's not legislative and he's not judicial. That leaves executive which entails being President of the Senate and becoming President if the President is unable to serve. If Bush dies, Cheney would jump into the Presidency before Bush's body cooled.

He's got the mindset of a typical corporate executive.

His decisions cannot be questioned.
