I ALWAYS check snopes.com before sending that stuff on. Then when I find out that it isn't true (and it never is), I paste the snopes link into the forwarded email and send it back to the person who sent it to me with a short explanation.
What amazes me is that I continue to get those stupid forwards from people! I mean, come on...how long has Penny Brown been 9 years old...?

Yes, I got sucked in finally on one 360 message like that. Usually I just ignore them. But Sunday I tried to Forward one to all my 360 friends and because I don't know how to work this contraption really , only part of the message got through. I have been getting messages from my friends wondering what it was about. I will never do that again.

i could in basic terms delete the emails. I even have few human beings in my handle e book who try this and it truly is not worth a while demanding or being aggravated by ability of those emails. On one occasion as quickly as I gained a questionable digital mail, I checked the validity of it on city legends or snopes and evidently it replaced right into a pretend - I in a well mannered way emailed the sender to enable her know that it replaced right into a pretend and he or she bit my head off. I used to enable it truly worsen me and then I in basic terms desperate to delete the emails instead of spending time being mad approximately it. Or, you should be truly cunning and deliver your uncle and pal an obnoxious quantity of warnings, memories, memories, jokes, etc in one day. it could be humorous to work out what their reaction could be - yet, having pronounced that that should backfire on you.

Very seldom. And when I receive something obviously doubtful from a friend, I check it out on sites like snopes and then send it back with the associated link.

No (I don't forward)
Yes ( I used to check them out on Snoopes)
The truth now a days, though: I just delete them.
I think some people like to be malicious because they hide in cyberspace and don't really see the consequences of their actions. Or derive some pleasure of it.
It is a kind of terrorism think about it. Not too much effort and a huge effect.
think about it if you get one, does it look like the last ten. Could this be true? Just delete.

Yeah... I usually check snopes for those stupid stories. I rarely forward spam type e-mails... you know "send this to ten people in one hour and a dream will come true". Those are just on-line chain letters! I can't believe people fall for that crap.
By the way, Lt. Dan... you were great in Forrest Gump! Hee hee.

I not only check them, I send them back to whoever sent them to me with the address that refutes the e-mail. A few episodes like that and they quit sending them to me lol! Unless an e-mail is VERY interesting or informative I don't forward them anyway.
