The biggest problem with using sattelites is the massive amounts of information that is obtained, most of which is irrelevant to useless. Just think about it. How many pictures will you get of someone going to the grocery store or filling up their gas tank, etc? Unless you already know that someone is of interest and that they are probably going to do something interesting at some point in time, it really isn't all that useful to have a sattelite watch them.

Satellites are used by the military for espionage, but they do not have the resolution to render identifiable individuals.
Still, do you honestly think that the government has the resources, manpower and will to monitor everyone in the country? It's a logistical impossibility.

If they reckon I'm important enough to spy on from a satellite, I say let them waste their time. Personally, I think they use it to keep track of terrorist army camps, missile transportation, etc, etc. So i think I'm safe for now.

I personally don't care if they spy on me because at least then i would kind of feel important in a weird kind of way.

I would be more concerned about laser armed satellites.

Well, if a person is doing nothing wrong, then there's nothing to be concerned about. If he is, and he's being watched - that's his problem.

If they are spying on me, they must be really bored!

If their quest is legitimate and you have nothing to hide,I think it is an excellent idea.
