Well, it doesn't go over even if you had a 300 mph serve but you wouldn't have any spin on it. You have to give the ball a "kick", a spin that makes the ball go over. Try tilting the racket a little counterclockwise as if you were holding a hammer. Also make sure that your toss is right above your head and your arm is stretched straight when you hit the ball in the air. That should solve your problem. Good luck with your tennis!

it could be the racket or your probably not hitting it right.

practice in your serving form just throwing the ball in the air about a foot or a few inches above your racket (extend your arm into the air holding your racket)

when trying get it over try getting the ball in front of the racket but throw it out in front so you have to reach foward slightly and make sure your arm is completly extended

hopefully that all makes sense

The point at which you hit the ball may be too low or too far in front of you. Or your wrist might be 'breaking' too early.

Try tossing a little closer to you and taking the ball at a fuller stretch.

make sure that you make contact with the ball when your arm is FULLY extended, watch the ball. First the ball must go up, and then come down. Make sure the u dont close ur racket too much. FOLLOW THTOUGH!!

Maybe because you aren't strong enough or don't have that good of a racket. You could be throwing it wrong or angling the racket weirdly, or maybe you just suck.

try angling the racket when you hit it.

Because you're either not strong enough or your racket is not that good...

maybe itz your toss....the toss has to be only slightly in front of you and pretty high.......and you have to extend your arm and follow through....practice makes perfect...
