Beauty pornography is made, mainly, by men for men. Now, that's not to say that all porn, as a product, is marketed toward men, but the vast majority of it is. Because most beauty pornography is made from the perspective of a man, one only sees the woman's outer shell. Her expression is hollow, her eyes vacant, her mouth open, her body vulnerable. This beauty pornography takes a young woman, filters out the complications of her personality and the depth of her intelect, and leaves only a thing, not really something to be seen as a person, but as an object. On that level, beauty pornography objectifies women.
But what else? What about the men?
These men are taugh by the magazine what is sexually exciting, what beauty looks like. Unfortunately, these photos are cropped, distorted, touched up, to say the very least. So, the women these men are taught to value are the unnatural results of computer generated "perfection". This puts women of all shapes and colors in a terrible position. The women who do not resemble these CG beauties are passed over, devalued; The few women who DO bear traces of the symmetry and "perfection" of the CGBs are seen as mere objects of desire by these men. However, the media makes certain that we all understand that, no matter what a woman looks like, she cannot possibly measure up to the CGBs, with their computer edited skin, perfect lighting, and altered proportions.
Check out my sources below, especially the Dove advertisement. They will change the way you look at the media.

Porn objectifies all involved... but since consensual adults are the ones participating, I don't believe in limiting their freedom over something so stupid. Ever actually watched porn recently? Most of the videos are made by younger couples having sex and filming it.. what is degrading about that? And many feminists just don't like what's being depicted in porn. They don't like the fact that it features a woman who wants a man to 'take control of her' and be dominating.. Well wake up ladies. Because there are all kinds of women out there who want a whole variety of un-PC things in the bedroom. That's what probably sticks in their craw most of all.. if porn were a woman with a strap-on giving it to a man they'd probably think it educational. Yes there are a lot of women out there who like to be spanked, a lot who like it to be rough, and a lot who like it to be degrading.. sorry to burst your bubble. As long as porn is between consenting adults I don't think anyone has much authority to tell them what's appropriate.

I think that porn in general has a tendency to degrade women by depicting them as pieces of meat and objects
]to be dominated. I also think that it makes real sex
dis-functional when males try to play these roles out.
Ironically 60% of all women polled in a survey admitted
they had never achieved orgasm. Of the 40% who did,
30% said they cannot reach it through penetration alone.
You don't see a lot of foreplay and intimacy in a porn flick
do you? I've always thought that this accounted for the
dysfunctionalism.

Chevella said it perfectly and I would like to add.
There is porn and porn. Porn as the one described in the blog you posted is like rape, they hurt women and therefore is denigrating. As a woman watching these films is painful; you even can see that women are not enjoying it (and sometimes even suffering) and this is denigrating. But there are few porn films that represent the sexual act as a mutual enjoyment of both parties, these ones are not denigrating, because the woman is enjoying it and is not being treated savagely, therefore it is erotic.
I understand the fear of this young woman, it is absolutely understandable.

porn is degrading to any human being despite their gender. That article is only a naive girl's point of view, but it IS disgusting, an only portray both me and women as being absolutely shallow in their feelings, porn skips the love and affection part and goes straight to show an absolutely exaggerated way of sex that could pervert and corrupt the most innocent mind. Come on. We can do better. That's why erotica exists. Skipping romanticism is immoral and decaying.

Most of it is. And that reveils totally non-sexual issues in a men´s psychology.
Some men should be self critical about their hatred against women (maybe going back to a bad relationship) to overcome their destructive emotions.
A male author who is that self-critical certainly is Mario Brocallo: http://www.brocallo.net.tf .
