ABC said that he murdered his wife and child then hung himself. Fair enough, there was no sign of forced entry etc, but I personaly don't think that Benoit would do such a thing. He had so much going for him, why would he end his and his family's lives?
Do you think someone set them up?
Do you think the whole thing doesn't really add up?
Why would a successful, talented and wealthy man end his life?

I think the man had a history of domestic violence.

"The Atlanta Journal Constitution said the Benoits had lived together since 1997 and were married in 2000 but separated about the same time Nancy Benoit filed for divorce in May 2003.

In an accompanying petition, the newspaper said Nancy Benoit had sought protection from domestic abuse, claiming she was intimidated by threats of violence from her husband.

She later filed to have the divorce and protective petitions dismissed."

"Nancy Benoit filed for a divorce in May 2003, saying their three-year union was irrevocably broken and alleging "cruel treatment." But she later dropped the complaint, as well as a request for a restraining order in which she charged that Benoit had threatened her and had broken furniture in their home."

I'm betting she got tired of him giving her his own little home version of the smackdown, told him she was leaving, and he decided to kill her and the kid so nobody else could have them.

Trying to blame it on somebody else is like trying to blame violence on television for taking a gun and shooting up a McDonald's.

Personal responsibility, people. The scumbag murdered his family, then took the easy way out for himself so he wouldn't have to face prosecution.

And Roid Rage doesn't add up. He killed his wife on Friday, his boy on Saturday, and himself a day after that. He placed bibles next to their bodies. These are deliberate acts, not acts of sudden rage or temporary insanity.

firstly i dont think that there is any conspiracy behind what happened it looks really bad what happened after he is a supposed role model for young children so if they wanted to cver it up and hide the truth im sure they would have. money doesnt bring happiness benoit was obviously disturbed in some way tht wasnt visible to the outside world, no one expected he'd do a thing like this but unfortuantely its a mad bad world at times and what happened wont be that rare throughout the world its just the celebrity status that has projected this case into the limelight.
benoit also had a history or domestic violence and the anabolic steroids found in his house whether they were legally prescribed or not cause severe paranoya, depression and psychosis of the mind. although not an excuse by any means it can only be imagined what must have been going through the mans head.

so to answer your question i doubt very much whether this is a cover up or that we are being mislead, like millions of other people throughout the world we will all have to accept that regardless of the excuses the man is a cold blooded killer

When I first heard the story I thought they had all died in there sleep due to a Gas leak or something but sadly that was not the case. Nance filled for a divorce from Chris in 2003/4 because he was being violent, so who knows. Maybe she was gonna leave him again and take their son. Only time will tell....I cannot believe it myself.

i don't know if all that is said in the media and over the net is true or false, but i do know that a great wrestling legacy has come to an end.
no matter what ppl say u cant discount the fact that he was a great wrestler
as per reports it seams to me as though Benoit had a fight with his wife for some reason and in a fit of rage killed her, he later realized what he had done and knew his son was mentally ill and would not be taken care of properly if he went to jail and so decided in the best interest of the kid to kill him, and later out of guilt and depression killed himself.
all said and done i really liked Benoit as a wrestler and to me he will always be one of the best wrestlers ever

After searching for the evidences on the news on tv and benoit's marriage background, i think it's safe to say that benoit killed his family and himself. it made me sick to the stomach but i knew that i had to accept the fact that one of my idols in wrestling is a cold-blooded murderer and should never be inducted into hall of fame or appreciated in any ways

i adored benoit ever since i was little and i still dont understand why he'd do it. but then again, i never knew him personally. from what stephanie mcmahon and edge where talking about on the tribute, he seemed as though he was a caring family man. so...ya know i dont know.

probably someone set him up...he had good things going for him and about to be ECW champ too. maybe it has to do about the divorce his wife tried to file 4 years ago....
It's very shocking
