what is the begining bit on the song wish you were here.sounds like a tv or radio?

It was David Gilmour changing radio stations (kinnda a connection between Have a Cigar and WYWH). Then it goes to the 12 string acoustic guitar that was processed to sound like it was coming out of an old radio.

He is tuning a radio, then he finds the station with Wish you Were Here playing..
