I think that you are famous many times in your life for more than 5 minutes. Every time someone falls in love with you or someone looks up to you you are famous.

If you have children at some point in time you have probably been famous in there eyes,even though they might not have told you so!
Actually not in the eyes of the world but to some yes!
I caught a burglar and locked him in a dumpster till the police got there. That made the front page of the paper.
I delivered a baby. That made me famous with the hospital staff.
