Asking Dutch people what is the most popular website in The Netherlands, does that site have English version?

The most popular websites are the sites to find something. Google.nl is number one. Then comes startpagina.nl, also a website to find things, but organised by theme, more a sort of directorypage. Then comes MSN.nl (microsoft). Also popular is marktplaats.nl, which is owned by Ebay and speurders.nl which (like marktplaats) is a site for selling and buying to and from each other. The site postbank.nl is the site of the biggest consumerbank. ANWB.nl is the organisation of motorists ( I do not know the English or American name of the equivalent). The ANWB gives information about cars, traffic, but also on holiday-destinations.
A big Dutch international site is mininova.org a site for torrents. This site is not a specifically directed to the Dutch.

One of the most used is "Startpagina.nl" - but, as far as i am aware, it does not have an english version.
Also, it is sort of a portal site, not a real website as such.
As to other websites - that depends on the people using them.

a very populair site here right now is Hyves.nl i do believe there is a english version, you should check it out, people hook up with old class mates there but you can also find a job or a house there, it's a fun site

Most probably google and if not it's probably marktplaats.nl. a site where you can put your stuff for sale.
