My favorite was Daniel Jackson, but I thought all the main characters were very good and fit together well as a team. They had some great guest stars, too!

For me it has always be a tie between Jack and Daniel. I loved the contrast between the two and their colliding view points. I won't deny that when I found out that Jack would not be returning and when we met Cameron, I felt resentful. It took a little bit, but when I accepted Cameron I started to think he was pretty cool too. I loved all the characters of SG1 and I cannot wait until the movies out, I won't deny that when I found out that they were canceling the show, I cried...I felt like a piece of me was dying because SG1 was the first show that I fell in love with, I grew up with that show, and it had weaved its way throughout my life....Go SG1! You will be missed.

The original cast was my favorite, although I did learn to like the new characters! I loved Claudia and Ben on Farscape!
Jack was, I think, always a lot smarter, than he let on! He sure didn't get to be where he was by being as dumb as he pretended to be at time!
Daniel was the little brother at times, and very lovable, I cried when he died!
Carter can be 'the soldier' and be a woman when needed! I like the teasers between she and Jack!
Who couldn't love Teal"c? I adore his droll and dry sense of humor, and watching him learn the ins and outs of living on earth, and learning about human beings, the best and the worst!
I loved Gen.George Hammond! He was a friend, a father figure, and a good boss! ( I love Don S. Davis, too
JAnet was great! She started out slow, and became more important, as the series progressed!
I was disappointed at the way it ended, tho! They left it to movies to resolve the Ori story line! I really think they painted themselves into a corner with the storyline, ( the writer's) that is! All in all, I think the show was great, and I shall 'indeed' miss it!

Jack O'Neill was my favorite character. Jack was the "ordinary Joe" who was the fish out of water at the SGC in regards to anything OTHER than military matters. There Jack excelled, and kept SG1, the SGC, Earth, and several times, the Milky Way and the Pegasus Galaxy, safe from various nemesi.
My other favorite characters were Sam Carter, Teal'c, General Hammond, Dr. Fraiser and Daniel.
Favorite recurring guest stars were Carmen Argenziano (Jacob), Tony Amendola (Bra'tac), Tom McBeath (Maybourne), Peter Williams (Apophis), Eric Breker (Col. Reynolds), and JR Bourne (Martouf).

People like to give mean answers, no matter the topic... Probably thinking they're funny. My favourite character has to be Jack, although I like everyone else just as much. Jack's just adorable. ^.^ From the recurring characters I like Jacob and Lya a lot. A favourite episode? There are several. "Window of opportunity", "Fragile Balance", "'Urgo", "The Fifth Race" to name a few. Least favourite ep is "Family Ties". I don't really have a favourite season, each has its ups and downs. I thought the changes made in seasons 9 and 10 were good. It felt like a whole new show and made it more exciting to watch again. (Plus I like Ben Browder ^.^) My favourite villain would be Ba'al.

I totally agree, Daniel Jackson was the best. Smart, Spoke Numerous languages. But still had the strength to be a hero when needed.

Jack O'Neill; always with the jokes, prepared to kick *** when need be, loved The Simpsons
Really just a good well adjusted charecter, besides before he was Col. Jack O'Neill he was Macgyver
Also loved the goa'uld, Yu.

Daniel Jackson, followed by Jack O'Neill, followed by Teal'c. And Thor (best Asgard evah). And for randomness, I love the goa'uld, Sokar. He was only in two eps, but I totally dug him (the same guy later played Anubis, though Anubis kind of annoys me, heh).

It change over the years, early it was Daniel, then Jack, I know I am the only one that Jonas was a great charcter and should have stayed on! the last year are so it was Cladia Black, she was so much trouble but she was worth it.
