Hah, good question. Hope to hear more guys will stand by their girlfriend..Personally, i feel that guys who leave their girlfriend upon hearing the news are shallow, childish and irresponsible..Hah, did they think of this situation before implanting their seed? Sad..
Oh, neway, im 21 and i will definitely stand by her. If im not financially and mentally prepared, i will discuss the issue with her and come out with a win win situation. Abortion will be the last thing that ever come to my mind.
Be responsible in your action.

I was 13 when I found out a 16 year old was pregnant by a sleezy married scumbag that was old enough to be her father.
All you can do is try to be there for her and help her with the baby when it comes and be supporitive to as babies are high-maintenance. If your Mom will let you stay over with your friend to get up with the baby when your friend needs help, that would be great (but not all Mom's will allow it...if not,it is only because she is worried about you being taken advantage of).
I stayed overnight and helped out with her adorable daughters when we were younger and the oldest, Chrissy, even called me "Mommy" which broke my heart (after they left).
She up and left without notice one day, likely because the law was closing in on her boyfriend...has haunted me ever since.
Only good part was I vowed I would not become a mother until I was ready to do so, which turned out to be after 6 years of marriage in my 30's.

Let her know that I was there for her and give her as much support as possible. Listen since she will have plenty that she needs to talk about!

i use protection (every time) simply to avoid this, i cannot support a kid or deal with a kid right now. so let it be known to all that if she got pregnate she'd have to either get an abortion, go for adoption or raise it herself. if she decides to bring it to term, its her responsibility, no way in hell will i accept this b.s. idea ppl have that we men should not have a say because its in her body. if however i was to fail in taking apropriet mesures to prevent this, then yes, i would do my very best to be there for her and the kid. i'm 18.
