How can you clam down after a attack or stop thinking ? that your dieing

Just realize that you will be traumatized for a period of time. Accept the fact that you will feel anxiety and possibly some mile depression for a few weeks.

Eventually, though, the memory of that incident will fade to the point that it becomes an archived thought that will only surface if you consciously think about it.

Give yourself time to recover.

Without medication, you can try a warm shower, calming music, positive thinking (i.e. I'm not going to die, this will pass, it's just a panic attack, etc.) You will really need to identify what it is that makes you panic in the first place, that way you can target your thoughts towards a specific subject. For example, when I get a panic attack it usually has to do with school so I say to myself things like "I'm not going to fail", "Everything will be alright". I also used controlled breathing to take my mind off things...

focus on something stationary in front of you, a chair , then focus on the picture on the wall, then the plant by the window, by the time you get to the 5th or 6th thing your breathing will be normal, you need to take yourself out of your panic zone
