is anyone exited about the smashing pumpkins being back, i am thrilled and what about r.a.t.m they are back as well ( i think and hope they are if not please tell me)

I can't wait for the Pumpkins new album - only 11 days to go!!!
At first I was a bit skeptical, after some of their more recent stuff which is ok but not brilliant but after going to their reunion show in Paris, hearing Doomsday Clock and Tarantula I am buzzing.
Doomsday Clock sounds like something out of their older years. Really really catchy.

I'm so excited about the Smashing Pumpkins! My husband and I are going to see them at VooDoo Fest in New Orleans. Definitely one of the best bands of all time.

I'm especially excited about Smashing Pumpkins especially after hearing their first single "Tarantula" exclusively from iTunes. I'm sure they won't disappoint.
As for Rage, I honestly haven't heard much. All i know is that it is a definite possibility considering Chris Cornell launching his solo career, probably leaving Audioslave behind.
