Looking for a restaraunt to be a waiter, I live in Artesia, CA....?

Im gonna try to get a job as a waiter at a restaraunt, but i cant think of where i should go. I need someplace fairly close that has an opening.

Also, do i just walk in and ask if they have any job openings?, i dunno, this would be my first job, so i dont know anything about anything. some places dont even put a sign up, so i dunno.

Denny's gives good training. I would just start walking and enter every restaurant and put in applications. You just go to the receptionist and ask for an application. Fill it out and return it to them. You may be able to fill it out there. Make sure you are dressed well and be clean: no shorts and tank tops!! Make sure you write a neatly as possible on the application. Some places may have applications on line. Experience isn't always necessary. If you can speak Spanish, make sure you let them know it. Make sure your finger nails are clean. Don't let them see you smoking (bad breathe). Good luck!!
