Maybe I'm not the first person to learn this, but I heard Buffalo Bill's voice (Silence of the Lambs) and I said "Wait a minute! That's Captain Stottlemeyer from Monk!!" What a great actor! Couldn't even tell if it weren't for the voice.

I didn't know that. I'll tell you who else has very similar voices....including any accent: Howard Stern and Alan Alda....but I've never heard Alda talk trash though.
