Learning that life isnt fair , because peole have thier own agenda , knowing the cards are stacked against you , and knowing when to drop out ? And do you think it will be better after the bird flu ?

No, I'd say that outside of family etc the most 3 important things are:

1 - To get ahead you need to make sure you put others behind
2 - If you're staying, you better adapt to others
3 - Sh*t falls from a great height, you gotta dodge it or end up in it

No I think that it is more important to learn
1. The laws and the rules of acceptable behavior
2. The language
3. the best place to live, and the places one might want to stay away from

as far as the bird flu. Yes of course things will get better, until something else comes along to threaten the world

Nope the three most important things to learn in Britain, are

Patience
Manners
Language

Without these the country would be a lot worse off and it is a shame that not all people can learn all three

1 the number of the local social security office
2 the right answers to put on a form
3 how to work the system

im 42 years old and british by birth and i still havent managed to work the system but i know so many people who have learned and seem to have much more money, holidays, consumer goods, etc etc. not that im bitter lol. x

I think 3 important lessons for life in general are:

Be respectful, everyones born equal
Be well mannered, 'what' is not an answer!
Take everything you hear and see in the media with a little pinch of salt :D

Erm its kind of a harsh thing to aim to teach the kids as soon as they are able to understand. That there is no point as things are stacked against you.
I think everyone should learn to deal with disapointment, but I still think things can be achieved, so Im not that negative just yet!

History, Language, Culture, Nikkincork?

Our History is not taught and belittled or re-written
Our Language has become debased
Our Culture is becoming proscribed as racist/elitist and diluted by anyone else's, to a point where in is no longer definable
