They used to show 16 and 20 on the window stickers.

I've got a cherry 26,000 mile 98 S -10 4 wheel and have nipped at 24 mpg. on trips. Many will find this difficult to believe especially when it's coupled with 3.73 gears. The little 262 cubic inch 4.3 V-6 has been a bullet proof truck.

I pamper it worse than an old woman.
