Just about.
I had most of my family die, ex-girlfriend screw me over, and got a mystery illness(bedridden--nearly collapsing from just walking to bathroom--->had started working in toxic mold building, and also had Lyme disease), then my friends stopped talking to me after getting ill... all within a few years.
Life will get better for you, no matter what is happening at the moment. You go through things in life, you pull out of it, and you move on, and become stronger than before.
Always do your best to stimulate your body(exercise), mind(continue learning), and spirit
