Yeah, that would be easier for everyone whether they're into metal or not. A classic rock section would be great too!
The rock/pop category is so broad and encompasses so many different genres, it would make sense to split it up into subcategories given how many other genres of music are categorised.

I sure do..when i see some of the bands people talk about, it just makes me cringe. I don't think rock and pop should even be classified together. They definatly need to expand further, there's alot of genres they could expand to including metal. Metal should be in it's own classification, seperate from rock as well.

-Alternative/Punk
-Classic Rock
-Modern Pop
-Metal
-Old Pop
-Religious
-OtherRock/Pop
But yeah, I agree. Rock and Pop is WAY to vague compared to the other categories.

Yes, I think it should. Pretty much all the other genres have their own category. Metal needs one as well.
