how old do you think you should be to use a tampon-[ for swimming]

13 is a good age to start using tampons.
Get some teen tampons, they are thinner and will fit better

Whenever you are comfortable with the idea. (and no, 13 is not too young).
For swimming tampons are the safest thing you can do.

I see nothing wrong with using one as soon as you get your period. They are more comfortable and convieniant, and it's not likw they take your virginity or anything. I don't like it when people say it is morally wrong. I used tampons as soon as I got my period. They are also cleaner.. Don't have to feel like you're wearing a diaper and smearing blood everywhere!

As soon as you feel ready to wear one. You can even start on your first period. I waited a while to use them, but that's just me.

whenever you get your period. you dont have to wait for a certain time to use one to go swimming.
