I generally am a smart working lady and take my official decisions with my brain as it is said beauty with brains.

But when it comes to my family discussions I can't control I always apply my heart and feel that family and relationships are to be taken very whole heatedly.

So I can conclude for me it is both brain and heart but I can only say as you imagine yourself to be, so in time you will think whether brain or heart, depends on the situation in front of you.

Read "Blink" I can not think of the Author but it is very very interesting. He wrote "The Tipping Point "as well.

I decide using my instinct ( heart) first and then use my brain and research or ask for advice. If the query's coincide with my instinct I'm happy. If not I may go either way. sometimes then I even flip a coin.

A big decision like should I submit to elective surgery it usually comes down to instinct .

You make decisions with your brain because that's where you think but you wouldn't be able to think without a heart.

The heart is the "master" and the brain is a "service man".
I may use logical thinking to grasp the situation, but my feelings (whether I like this or like that) has the final word.

Like, my brain analyzes what it would mean if I cheated, and I decide to cheat or not to cheat based on whether I feel good or bad about it.

Some decisions required logic has to take with brain and some of them if required to take with heart.

I wish we would always make decisions from our brains, but that's usually not true...... .. . our heart is a difficult thing not to listen to, and unfortunately sometimes (for guys) our other heads make the decisions.

Both. Depending what the decision is, I may let logic or emotion dictate but I usually try to find a compromise.

For instance, when I chose a car. My heart wanted a fancy sporty one. Logically I knew it wasn't practical & I couldn't afford it. My reason told me to get a reliable one but my emotion prevented me from settling for a boring sedan that I thought was ugly. So I compromised & found a cute little pseudo-sporty one within my budget which was affordable, reliable & still attractive to me.

I think best decisions are those where heart's intuition can be logically justified by your brain.
