Am in this relationship with my girl for a long time and ill surely marry her. I really love her but she got transferred to another state and now keep in touch through mail ad phone. Am totally devoted ad faithful to her, refusing all proposals and attention from other girls. recently i saw a girl who looks exactly like her, same figure, same smile, same hair style. This makes me think abt this new girl and wants to talk to her but I think this will b cheating on my girl so i dont appraoch her. My thinking abt this new girl makes me guilty and feeling bad, i am sure ill never talk to this new girl but how to stop thinking abt her?

avoid all contact wtih this girl.... focus on your girlfriend who you love dearly... a long distance relationship takes time and a lot of effort from both parties. I think its awesome that you have refused attention from other girls, guys like you are few and far between. Dont go mess that up by going for a girl just coz she looks like your girlfriend... I promise you, if you do, you will subconciously be comparing her to your girlfriend and you will be highly disappointed in the end, and then its too late - you would have already broken that bond and the trust that was built up between you and your gf....

If you didn't do anything with this new girl, then you're not cheating. Meeting her just made you miss your gf since she's so much like her. If you think you'll get tempted by this new girl, then it would probably be wise to stay away. But tell the new girl so she won't call or email you anymore and you can make that clean break without hurting her feelings too much.
Where did you meet this new girl? Was she attracted to you too? If so, you should just let her know that you need to make the clean break and why...be honest so you don't hurt her feelings.

I think you like this new girl so much because you really miss your girl.I would try to visit your girlfriend, if you do i think you will completely forget about the new girl.Do not talk to the new girl, not that talking is cheating, but you could find it will make you think about the new girl more and probably make you feel more guilty.

well from a girls point of view is that talking to her is a innocent little thing and there is nothing wrong as long as u keep it innocent and set the ground rules that ur just friends and u r faithful....another u don't need to act like a monk when ur in a relationship u can at least exknowledge that they are there just don't do anything about it

Well she looks like your girlfriend! So it's kind of sweet, I guess. Just know that that girl is probably nothing like your girlfriend :) Just an "illusion." Stay faithful! Sounds like you're truly in love. Keep a good head on your shoulders. There's nothing wrong with talking (in a friendly way) to other girls, though... just don't get physical with them.

Pay attention to what you wrote..you said this new girl had the same figure, smile..etc..as your girlfriend.... clearly you want your girl....you don't even know this new girl...what if shes crazy lol..j/k...all im saying is resist temptation at all costs b/c your in love with your girlfreind or you wouldn't be seeing her in someone else..now behave!

You are on dangerous territory. Go visit your girlfiend, wherever she is...and remember why you love her. If you cheat, you will ruin everything. Even if she doesn't find out...you will have tarnished your love for your girlfriend and guilt may do you in.
