I drive a 1993 honda civic that has 14" rims. Could I possibly get 15" rims? probably a dumb question , but i know nothing about cars, so could you help a sister out?

Quanna, You will get a truthful answer on any plus sizing wheels for your car by going to: tirerack.com. There's a toll free number and they will advise you exactly what wheel / tire combinations will fit.

It's extremely important that the original wheel back spacing is not changed do to the clearance necessary for your struts, spindles, brakes, steering arms and both inner and outer fender well space. Backspacing is the distance from your inner wheel hub flange to a line across the the brake or back side of the wheel.

Yes you can get over sized rims for a honda i have a friend that as a 2006 civic with 18"rims go to a local tire shop and they can tell you what you can and can not do hope i have helped a sister out.

if you go to a tyre place, they should be able to tell you the overall diameter of the tyres that are on the car, then you can check overall diameters of say a 15 or a 16 inch lower profile tyre. keep the overall diameter around the same and you wont have any worries with the tyres rubbing

WHY, without a tape measure no one will notice.

It works if the tire doesn't hit any body parts (In turns too.)

yea of course u can, the max u can go up to is i think 18 inches, ne thing bigger then tha ur gonna have to get spacers

yeah, you could go up to 17"
