I'm not sure. If you think about it, the answer could be yes, but you really have to go by what the definition of a satellite is. Personally, I think it isn't. A satellite would be more like a moon or something, not a planet. I think a satellite can only be a certain size to actually be a satellite.

By, definition, a satellite is an object that orbits a planet or an object larger than its self and is no man made. So the Earth is an object that orbits another larger object (the Sun). So the Earth is a satellite.

Yes, you're correct.
Something orbiting something else is called a satellite. Just as the Earth is a satellite of the Sun, the Moon is a satellite of the Earth.
However, one may distinguish between natural satellites (moons, planets, etc.), and artificial satellites (like weather satellites we put into orbit).
