u could try to exchange him at the pound, but they probably don't want him either. while he sleeps draw some whiskers at him and when he comes into the room, and throw stuffed mousies at him. when he picks them up, scratch him btwn the ears and say 'good boy'. he may start purring.

Sorry, but a kid is a responsibility, not something that can be thrown out when you get bored with it. Maybe you should have been more careful when you decided to get a girl pregnant.
Plus, sure a cat is quieter than a kid, and doesn't ask for as much money, but would you rather give up every single moment with your son, for a cat?

Wait until your son is eighteen and then just kick him out. Then buy a cat. I'd rather have a cat than a son, too.

It's a lot harder to drown your son in a lake than a cat. There would be stories in the mewspaper s and the press would be all other you - this will take careful thought and consideration, LOL.

Place an ad in the local paper. A lot of people have cats they'd like to give away.

If he's good with yard work, I'll trade - I have a lovely cat named Beebo that might suit you nicely, I just can't get him to cut the grass.

cats are better than kids, although i am one, you can probably go to one of those children exchange centers and change him for a cat... or maybe even a glass of ice tea! lol

Cats tend to have hairballs.
Get a fish instead.
