I have a great gaming computer, however when I play a simple Tiger Woods game, the monitor shuts down and says its in "DVI Power Saving Mode". The game ends and I have to restart the computer. I have an LG LCD monitor as does my roommate, but this does not happen on his machine. Anyone know why this happens?

My system has 3 GB of DDR Ram, 360 GB Hard Drive and GeForce 5700 256 MG. The computer is not the issue. I believe it is the monitor.

You might be using to much virtual memory for your computer, also when you play games do you shut off other programs?? That sometimes helps a game perform better and takes up less system resources. To check that out just press down on Alt-Ctrl-Delete at the same time and it shows you the programs that are running and how much system resources you are using. You can close out of the unnecssary programs there.
