I've got more than one, is that okay?
Let's see:
Elderly people who've got a story to tell (I've hard them from my Great-Grandmother's move from the USA to Scotland, to a woman who was at Pearl Harbor, To Holocaust Survivors, Civil Rights activists, so on and so forth) inspire me to be a better person because they've overcome so much and are still kickin'.
Also,
When I see people (and it can be anyone) doing a random act of kindness for another person, it ignights some type of flame within me to do good in the world.

Honestly? My 17 month old daughter. She blows me away with her optimism, and her empathy- from a 1 year old!! It's crazy. Last night my husband was coughing his brains out in the bathroom (allergies) and she went in there and rubbed his leg until he stopped. She also reminds me to have fun every single day. :)
