Well I know it would ruin my day. Then I'd have to survive 12 hours at work without it. Brutal. Then I'd have to quit my job, then I'd lose my house, then I'd be on the street...

Yes my entire existence hinges on the internet...

Ok well not really, but it is a nice distraction. I hate my job. Have I mentioned that yet?

Tee hee

Yes Hon it would be an honor to pray for your son and I am so sorry and so saddened by this and I just pray that God will return him to you safe and happy and that the joy of his return will so lighten your heart. I have a very close friend who is a prayer warrior and we will get together and do some serious praying for your young man. I have a 21 year old son, will be 22 on the 4th, and I can't imagine how this would feel, to not be able to know where he is and if he is safe. So you and your precious son will most definately be in my prayers every day until his return. God Bless Honey and don't give up!

I think depending on the person -yes!!
It is rather sad how folks now days don't really talk to one another in person any more.
While it is a nice distraction from the "real world" as amp pointed out - we, as a society would survive. Think what happened in the good old days - we got along fine without the internet.
By the way - to amp- I really loved your answer!! It made me laugh.

Yes, but that would be the most unlikely thing next to a human having a litter of puppies. Do you know what the internet is even? I couldn't just disappear.

Yes.

But that panic would quickly subside and we would continue our lives from 1995 onward.
