i have a perfectly functional phone, and my ipod works just fine too. dont see the big deal in trying to keep up with stupid trends...

I agree with the other 3, I have a cell and an ipod and I'm not forgetting my ipod for some phone. But to answer your question, I would definitely not buy it on Friday. Give it a few weeks, hear the feedback, what other people say, is it worth the money and service plan? Does it work and get good reception where you live? Don't go rushing off to buy it without hearing about it first, unless you want to be a guinea pig. I guarantee that they'll start discounting on it at some point, that's the only way they can get people to start buying it. Remember the RAZR, everyone went out and got it, 50 million people i think, and now you can get that for free. Be patient, and see what the world says.

Why do you say it will be $300 in 3 weeks?
I think it's an awesome device. It's more than just a phone and mp3 player...it can browse the web and it's got that awesome screen that goes both ways.... not to mention the touch screen (no more phone pad!!)......iwant one iwant one i want one!!

I'd wait even longer than 3 weeks. I like to wait six months....... let them work the kinks out of it you know? People buy them.... find out what is good, what is bad in time for the next company to invent something that's even a better improvement.
Besides..... no way am I switching to AT&T.

A 2 megapixel camera isn't good enough for me! i want heaps of space as well (at least 20GB) and i want more stuff... once that's old and they've got a better version i'll think about it ;)
