For me it is a good way to stay in contact and share photos with friends and family I don't see much off anymore due to moving and deployments. There are only about 5 people out of the 69 friends I have that I have never met, but if I travel to their town, they will show me around and hangout. I am also involved in a couple of political and pagan groups where there are several discussions of interest I participate in.

Well myspace, is a place just as another user said is to keep in touch with your friends, search for lost friends, and many other things to do with friends. The "space" lets you personalize it, and it is fun and addicting. Well I think it was manly meant for teens , but older people do go on it.

No, it is not for teens only. I've seen elderly people with a MySpace and the parents of some people (teens) has MySpace accounts too.
Hmm... I used to really love MySpace but it is turning boring lately. It is. Do you have one? my link is myspace.com/kimberly2930

It is like a bulletin board online and you can put up anything and people usually do. You can really tell what people are really like when they feel it is just their friends and not everyone looking at their my space and I know you can block and they have to be a friend but I watched this one guy where I worked and he was able to go to all the people I knew with out being invited all he needed was one person who knew and a few key words and he was in,,,,,it is scary what people think is funny and private but anyone can see

I keep in touch with friends, and it's like email, but simpler.(not that email is difficult or anything.) You don't have to remember emails. You can just be like "hey, do you have a myspace?" and converse from there.

its a fad. Wait about 5 years and i'm sure it won't be as popular (although I said the same thing about American Idol..)
I think its a simple concept, really.
Its young people, people talking about themselves or spying on those they don't like (or exes)- of course it will be popular.

Lots of people use it to keep in touch. Even my mom has one! All my close family has joined. And I've had luck in finding many long, lost friends there.
