hard to compare, since oden's a little larger, more center-dominant, more agressive in the paint that beasley, and durant is more versatile than oj mayo, who has on and off nights, and sometimes if he can't deliver, his team suffers...but in terms of popularity, i think not...i think that oj and beasley's class has more up and coming players than did durants and oden's, who were standouts in their own class. look at derrick rose, calathes, lawal was a surprise, donte green, all these guys have pretty good pedigrees, and if they can succeed at the college level as well as durant and oden, then they may be as big in as little as a year or two...the biggest thing is not to be the most endorsed player, but how well you can carry your team...derrick rose will be that player, not oj and beasley

Im not very sure about beasley, But oj mayo is completely overrated. He is a ball hog and that showed totally in the mcdonalds all-american game when he threw up brick after brick taking his team completely out of the game. If he does what he says he is going to do and leave after his freshman year, i guarantee he will be a huge bust if anyone picks him in the top 10.

Don't forget about Kevin Love and Derrick Rose- they will probably be one and gone too... Right now i'd put K. Love before both of those guys just because of his size... (Big guys seem to land at the top of the draft more often than unpolished backcourt guys). OJ Mayo will not be so polished even after one year.

Nickster

It's Greg Oden.

both are top 5 picks next year guaranteed, but i dont think they will have as big a impact as durant and oden did. i mean durant won best player of the year as a FRESHMAN, i dont think that has been done before.

WHAT?

They're good but they're NOT THAT GOOD. They'll be lottery picks but I doubt they will drop as many GM jaws as Oden & Durant have done.
