If you don't tell them your real name or the school you go to. How likely is it that they would somehow find out all ur info and stalk you

Not very likely...as long as you play it safe, casual internet chat is harmless. Just watch out for people who seem EXTREMELY pushy, or nosy. Small talk is fine, though...and can be lots of fun! =)

You got to be careful about the use of the name on the email. I've noticed that my emails have my first and last name but when I google my name I found out there's so many people out there with my name, it would be impossible. Just don't give ultra personal stuff like SS#, name of your town if it's smaller than a big city, phone #, and stuff like that.

lol, what I did one time with this girl I met online was I made up a whole entire different world. it's more interesting to talk about when it's made up. like I said I was high-school aged (never give out your age), I said I lived in New York City and I was an intern at Seventeen Magazine, just stuff like that. it's fun and it's much more safe.
