Outdated talk shows?

why do shows like Jay Leno or Conan o Brian seem outdated weeks or even months. but it is advertised as brand new. and sometimes some info on episodes are a mix of new and old.

im also saying some topics are from yesterday while the interviews are from a few weeks or months ago, las night on conan was from february

ANSWER...Summer reruns.. I know it is all a mish mash, I don't watch those shows in the summer for that reason.
