She is using goldfish (the feeder kind) in bowls as centerpieces at the reception. I asked why - it seems they just didn't want to go with the boring old candles & mirror. I am expected to give a toast, and would like to tie in the fish. Anyone know any appropriate legends or stories? Thanks!

Watch the movie Big Fish starring Ewan McGregor. It was directed by Tim Burton. In the story, there is a subplot about a fish and many parts of it is a love story.

ok well i dont know these people, but reflect on the two of them of course in your toast, at the end you can say something like she finally found her fish of all the fish in the sea! or theres plenty of fish in the sea and she found hers!
So hope they swim on happily!

wow. that is a different theme. may be tacky but maybe you can say something like everyone has heard of the common other fish in the sea quote but _______and_______have proven they have dove in the sea and found eachother. maybe something like that? sorry thats all i can think of!!
