Answer: Ball games at Wrigley field, and secretly loving it when the Cubs choke and lose.
Vegas:
-Go to the Bellagio and view the lobby and gardens, DO IT.
Best Buffet value is always lunch, the only ones in Vegas worth it are the Spice Market Buffet at Planet Hollywood and the Bellagio Buffet (best deserts in town PERIOD). Spice market has more traditional "normal" food and Bellagio, well, you'll figure it out from the lobby and gardens.
Bellagio and Venetian both have art museums for about 15 bucks admission. Take a look and see what's cookin'.
-Not to be missed for free: Big Elvis at Bill's Gamblin' Hall and Saloon on the corner of Las Vegas Blvd (the Strip) and Flamingo. It starts at 3, two sets, goes until about 7pm or a bit after. It's awesome if you like the voice of Elvis....trust me.
-Comedians that are worth the money: Jay Leno, Louie Anderson, Carrot Top, George Wallace. If you love live theater "O" at the Bellagio is top of the line. There are tons of shows. Be sure to look for half price tickets just north of the MGM next to the COKE Store (your can't miss it) or there is one other place for half price tickets that has four outlets on the Strip (you'll find it).
The rest I think you should learn for yourself...it's quite an experience. As you can tell, I've been often over the last three decades.
Oh yeah, Best Vegas Website for you to find out everything (I've used it for a decade):

The trip I just got back from to San Francisco. Norah Jones concert in Berkley outdoor ampitheatre on saturday night and a giants/yankees game on sunday afternoon. Both gorgeous weather and venues and I loved them both! :)
