um, the earth is round... actually more eggshaped. There really isn't a top or a bottom. Screw it, I'd fly to the top.

Now I am picturing this question as if the earth were a globe, and I was standing on top of it. I would prefer to fly to the bottom.

I've never been fully convinced that we are looking at the world right side up. In fact, many of my colleagues believe that the world actually spins sideways. So... that would place my choice of flight both up and down depending upon the time of day.
