No, it's a perfectly healthy theory.
You should read Richard Dawkins - The God Delusion.

well i don't think either of these are plausible, first where did the aliens come from, or where did this single cell come from? At what point did nothing become something ? where did the first something come from... when you find out you will have unlocked the key to how life began ;)
And how dare anyone say that evolution is a PROVEN fact, that gets me so annoyed, IT'S called a THEORY because it's a theory, not fact! ask any real scientest and if they're honest they will tell you they are no closer to finding how humans supposedly evolved than they were when darwin first came up with the idea!

This question is kinda retarded. You can't claim we evolved AND were created. You believe one or the other. God isn't a single cell organism. God is the creator of what you are lucky enough to live on, this planet, you are breathing the air God created. We didn't evolve from a single cell organism.

no it is not absurd. the idea is verry logical. scientists have proven that evolution ocurs and that a single celled organism can become a tree a monkey or even a human. it just has to do with those single cells joining and joining on one another untill they become something biger

Another vision challenged questioner.... Every time a baby is born, he/she evolves from a single cell after fertilization.

Your Right On both counts.
The Odds against us evolving as you described are so astronomically large no one could understand the number.
So it is more likely we were put here by 'Aliens", not so however.

Ah, another one. It's not absurd if it took billions of years, unless you think Earth is 6,000 years old, in which case I can't help you at all.
