Just got to your local Sears and pick up a $2 telescopic magnetic pick-up tool. It's a handy tool to have around too.
This should stick on to the back of your phone (most batteries are attracted to magnets).
It happened to me once too! Interesting experience... I was thinking... "where the heck is my phone"? Then I used another cell phone to call it, and it rang... but I couldn't see it!
Finally figured it out after LONG search!

Push the passenger seat all the way forward.
Take out the floor mat.
Get a flash light.
If you can see the phone try fishing it out with a coat hanger.
Parking the car on a hill, nose up, may help to slide the phone out.
if that doesn't work, get out your carpet knife.
No one can see those vents. Go ahead and pull up the carpet and cut up the duct. if it helps to get the phone out. You can patch it back together with duct tape and no one will know you had to cut it apart.
Or you could just buy another phone.
Good luck.

Very... very... interesting problem.
Well.... the easiest way would be to turn the car upside down and shake, however I don't think you are that strong.
Can you see the phone with a flash light or did it fall down into a deep dark place?
If you can see it I would try to claw it out with a bent clothes hanger. If it is down in a deep dark place, you will probably have to take out the seat, trim, and part of the carpet to get underneath to gain access to the air vent housing.
If you take it to your dealership they should be able to help you out.

i have had that problem also. i tried the dum-dum thing too. it didn't work. then i tried the coat hanger thing. it didn't work either. the phone was wedged in there. i had to remove the seat.
peel the carpet up and cut a little slit in the vent and push it out from the back.
you can also try to drive the car in reverse and slam on the brakes. maybe it will slide out. if it is wedged in there, good luck.

Ok!! You need to get DUM-DUM on a 24" long screw driver, take about a gum size piece of dum-dum on the end of the screwdriver , slide it in the vent, slide gently side to side and pull out, If nothing comes out , try again, Trust me it works, Dum-Dum is a gummy substance and its used for glass, If you dont know what it is go to your local auto parts store and buy some, I had my wifes RAZOR slide in it.
