Adopt a cat for the rodents and set up a bat house in the backyard. (A single bat can eat about 100 mosquitoes a minute!)

Mosquitoes carry disease so it is important for them to be eradicated if possible. I usually use biological control for insect and rodent control. For Example I dont mind Wasps living around the place as they kill spiders. I dont mind pythons in my roof they eat rats, I put delicate blue eyes (a type of fish) in my ponds because I want frogs to breed and they wont eat the tadpoles (whereas guppies will kill them) and the blue eyes love mosquitoes so they eat all the larvae.
