Maybe it will help them get over the hump of the Spurs.
The Suns, since D'Antonio, have won only 6 six (regular and playoff) games in 24 matchups with the Spurs (a 25% win rate).
TD and KG have met up 41 times (regular and playoffs) with Tim's team having the edge 26-15
Their stats against each other:
TD 20.9 pts 12.2 rebs 3.4 ast 2.0 ast 2.5 to
KG 21.2 pts 11.8 rebs 4.5 ast 2.2 ast 3.2 to

Ha. I agree. He's always been an ***, but since they won last year he thinks he has the right to act like he's never won a game in his life, so whenever the C's get a point on the board he makes those gross looking gangsta faces and bob's his head up and down. He may have even lost his love for the game now and just wants to embarass anyone that's not in a Boston uniform. So much for sportsmanship. I guess anything really is possible...

I love the Suns, I love Steve Nash and Shawn Marion and Amare Staudemire and I love KG. But as long as the Spurs remain who they are it will always be a toss up. The Suns could win as they are now, plenty of talent, more than enough, not that KG isnt plenty more. The bottom line is still Tim Duncan, He's like the Terminator, he never has a bad game.

If the Suns acquire KG, it also means they will lose either Amare or Marion and that will leave them just marginally better than they were a year ago.
They will give the Spurs a run for their money but they will still fall short because of the simple fact that they don't play any DEFENSE.
The Suns may be fun to watch, but they can't make a defensive stop even if their lives depended on it.

Dear fadih,
i think it depends on whether they would have to give up Amare to get him.
If they have Amare, Garnett, and Nash- yes they are going to win it all.
i think it's unlikely and as a Laker fan off course i hope KG comes to L.A. But if the trade happens- i don't see any reason barring injury that they shouldn't win.

They will have a really good chance. I'm on the edge of my seat watching ESPNEWS waiting for the breaking news to say Kevin Garnett to Suns. Last I heard it is really close. But at least the KG to Lakers trade is dead.
Go Suns!!!!

i really think they have a shot if they get KG. no offense to shawn marion but KG is 10 times better than him. and i cant think of a better duo than off 2 former MVPs- Steve Nash, Kevin Garnett.

They won't get him, they don't have the cap, because Minnesota does not want Shawn Marion, and Phoenix is not willing to give up Amare Stoudemire, just take it out of your head pretty much...
I also believe he will be staying with the timberwolves he has to big of a contract.
