You're probably applying for too high of paying jobs. Entry level jobs for people deemed by employers to be short-timers are generally things like flipping burgers, stocking shelves, wait persons, etc. Some may get lucky but you are competing with people who want to work for a living; not someone who is working to support education so they can get a much better job after graduation.

First off, FUC* the people who don't even call you. I myself just graduated with a degree in finance and I've been searching for a god damn job for 5 1/2 months now and haven't gotten SHI*. What really fuc*s me off is when they say entry level on the position, but then want you to have all these god damn fuc*ing years of experience.

I'm telling you right now, college is a huge fuc*ing waste unless you're gonna take over daddy's company or daddy knows someone who will give you a job.

Also don't go through staffing agencies, 99.9% of those *********** just jerk you around or send you to some jerkoff company that sells life insurance.

Sound to me like there more going on here than you're telling us. Chances are you're applying for jobs you're not qualified for, or otherwise are not 'entry-level' positions. If you have applied/interviewed for 30 jobs, and they won't call you back there's something going on here besides the employers ... its something you're doing. Try lowering your standards and applying for jobs you might not necessarily like, but that will give you experience for getting a better job in the future. Other than that its impossible to give better advice without knowing the exact particulars of your situation.

My son wanted a particular type of job, so he had his school help him set up a work study program. He was not paid for the work; he was a volunteer. He did get college credit and most importantly he got some experience.!!!!!

I notice alot of people now days have a shitty work ethic. I fire and hire new people everyday, I go through 20 before I find someone who can perform the job with a good work ethic.

Only 30 applications in 4 months. You should be submitting SEVERAL resumes PER DAY....There is a lot of rejection in job hunting, so you need to increase your odds by putting more applications out there.

if you go to uni you miss out on the most important thing whoch is experience. Education is great if you get a job placement but otherwise experience is better so :P

I would review your resume and make sure it is done properly. Worst case, you can look for something on campus.

That is your preference, not a fact. As for why it is hard for you, well i would blame it on bad luck. I wish you good luck!
