I start the College today. a big step. and i cant deny, im nervous. how was your first day of college like?

Looking back it was probably one of those best days of your life but you didn't know it at the time. I met people who became very close to me. I was nervous and somewhat scared. I guess that I wouldn't be accepted or make friends or be able to do the work, but I have a feeling now that everyone was feeling the same thing. Relax as much as you can and you will look back on that day!!

When I went to a smallish college, they had a 5 day freshman orientation before the upperclassmen came back to campus. It's been a while, but I remember basically we were all still getting to know each other, learning where the buildings were, talking to our advisers, stuff like that. It was fun until the upperclassmen came back and then I got nervous! But the first day isn't a huge deal. Just make sure you have your textbook(s), paper, and a couple pens. Just remember to take a lot of notes, you'll need them! And ask questions. Profs like that since it shows interest and participation.
I went back to college when I was 27 and then I was nervous! Huge university and I'd been out of school for 7 years! If I could do it, you'll get through it just fine. You'll make a lot of friends and acquaintances and have fun. Good luck!

I was nervous cause I had never been away from home but I was luck because three people I knew was also going to the same school as me. It took a few days. Once you get there you aren't as nervous. It's the waiting and thinking about it that gets ya.

I was nervous, had butterflies in my stomach. Took me about a week to adjust. Then I was fine. Ready to learn.

A BAD day... It simply annoys me after which I cant pay attention in any respect... People if u had a nasty hair day ... then pls cross c ur hairstylist and inform him to reduce it quick... otherwise use a band...

better than my first day of highschool. i like college a lot more than highschool. i just wish i could hurry up and get out of this thing already... :-/
