Hi guys we are making investigatory project and I have a question can RAM(Random Access Memory in the computer) produce a sollar cell? If not can u suggest any investigatory project relating to the parts of the computers (alternatives)

I do not think that RAM can be a solar cell because it itself needs energy to run.
May be you can tryout something on heat dissipation in microprocessors.

RAM could be powered by a solar cell, but, no, it could not produce a solar cell. The first answerer had a very good suggestion - one that plagues laptop computers much more than desktops - simply how to keep the CPU from collapsing under its own heat.

The basics of the silicon semiconductor technology used to make most semiconductor memories are also also used to make most of the solar cells in use today. But even if the fabrication technology would allow it, the packaging technology would prevent it.
