Not quite what you mean as we did know the real words but when we were kids & used to sing Gloria Gaynor 'I will Survive'
Instead of singing:-
'Kept thinking I could never live without you by my side'
we used to sing:-
'Kept thinking I could never live without your big backside'.
Only one problem to this is when you forget where you are & sing the wrong words on stage in front of 500 people - very embarrassing!!!!!!!!!!

From Shania Twain, "Man I feel like a woman" There are MANY words I misstook, but these are the ones I can think of off the top of my head...
Wanna make some noise, really raise my voice:
Wanna make some noise, beeda maze my voice.
and then, there's the song "Somebody to love" by Queen...
Each morning I get up I die a little:
Each morning I get a diet pill
I work 'till I ach my bones.
I work 'till I ach my balls.
And then from "Killer Queen" by Queen:
Reccomended at the price, Insatiable an appetite.
Reccomended epipen, sensation full of appetite.
Gunpowder, gelatine, dynamite with the lazer beam.
Gun Pal, and Jeopardy, dynamite with the lysterine.
Met a man from china, whent down to geisha minah.
fear not, try not The complications midol.
And a whole lot more...it's so funny to look back, and think of all the things you thought they said, and what the song meant, then now that you're older realize what the song REALLY means, and what they REALLY say....It can be really funny!!

Years ago there was a song out called Kind of a Drag by the Buckinghams. For the first few times I heard it I thought it was an ad jingle for Canada Dry.

well, in the song "through glass" by stone sour, i thought that the background vocals after the line "just listen to the noises" were "so much [)amn voices" when it was really "so much sad voices". well you have to admit it does sound kinda similar.
in the song "1985" by bowling for soup, when it goes "springsteen, madonna, way before nirvana" i used to think it went "stacy, madonna, way before nirvana", but so did all of my friends, my mom, and my dad. my brother was the only one that actually got the line right!
and in the song "sk8er boi" by avril lavigne, where it says "he was a sk8er boi" by brother used to think it said "he was a skinny boy". or maybe he was just joking about that..... i dunno he acted pretty serious about it.
kind of reasonable mishaps you have to admit.
