With the anti Arabic sentiments that are so strong right now it may be a bit more accepted in a decade or so. That said I do kinda like it, it's not very feminine but it does give a connotation of strength and longevity.

Uh, sorry no.
They name Egypt Egypt for whatever reason. They didn't name it Rose or Mary, so I'm assuming they'd want to keep it a country not some little baby's name
Egypt sounds nice, but save it for a pet. Don't name your child that, they'll be emotionally disturbed and get teased FOREVER

No I seriously do not like the name. Perhaps because when you say it often enough times it comes out sounding like ' he jipped ' and besides that it showed up on the list of Baby Pun Names.

It's a cool name but I am not sure I would name my child it.
An Egyptian name like Isis might be a little better : it means supreme goddess

Egypt is an interesting name, but honestly, you have to ask yourself if you would want to walk around your whole life with the name "Egypt". maybe for a middle name?

No.
I don't like the trend of naming kids after places---especially after I heard about a celebrity couple yapping that they named their children where they were conceived! YUCK!

not for a baby,
think about when the child grows up and everyone picking on him/her because of a country's name.
