Thanks :P
The rest of the sentence I just made up... my question was about the Today comma vs no comma.

Thanks!

Depends. Are you saying that Jenny is currently eighteen years old, or are you saying that today is Jenny's eighteenth birthday?

If you are saying the former, then your first sentence is correct.

If you are saying that it is Jenny's eighteenth birthday, then you would write the sentence this way:

"Jenny is eighteen years old today and as active as ever."

"Today, Jenny is eighteen years old and as active as ever."

The above is correct, but 18 should be spelled out. In the second sentence, "jenny" needs to be capitalized, 18 should be spelled out, and "and as active as ever" is not a complete thought and cannot be separated and left on its own by using a comma.

Hope this helps! ;-)

The first one. No commas before "and."

Plus, you forgot to capitalize Jenny in the second one, too.
