NASA has never, in their entire history, "researched" or attempted to prove that the Moon landings were real.
Where does this question even come from? NASA doesn't need to prove something that it knows it did. Why would NASA need to prove that the US went to the Moon when they were the ones that did it?
It's like trying to prove to yourself that you got out of bed this morning...
Please don't post ridiculous rhetorical questions like this... and if you do at least use some "evidence" to back up your claim so that it can be thoroughly debunked by people that actually know a thing or two about spaceflight.

NASA isn't trying to prove anything. Seriously, do a little research. I've listened to every single conspiracy argument and not a single one is with a shred of merit. How do you explain the reflector that Apollo 11 left on the Moon? If you haven't seen a video of the McDonald Observatory bouncing a laser off of it, you should. If Apollo 11 hadn't landed, there would be no reflector and astronomers wouldn't be able to bounce a laser off of it. Scientists have been using it for years to measure the distance to the Moon. It is absolutely irrefutable evidence that disproves the hoax claims.
The Moon rocks have been confirmed, by geologists across the world, to be of lunar origin. They explain that there is NO way that they could be from the Earth.
Independent radio observatories on Earth even listened in to the mission. They did this by pointing their equipment at the Moon, where the landing took place. If the landing was fake, they would not have heard anything because nothing would have been there. Instead, the radio observatories were even able to plot the altitude of the lander as it descended to the surface.
You can bet that the Soviet Union also listened in to confirm that the Moon landings were real. If it could disprove them, it would have been delighted to humilate the United States and to take the high ground in the court of world opinion.
There was just a documentary on the National Geographic Channel that was remarkably neutral on the subject. However, it took several conspiracy theorists and several scientists and evaluated the claims of each. The show let both sides have their say; the scientists were able to refute every argument of the conspiracy group. Ironically, the "evidence" that the hoax crowd likes to discuss is actually incontrovertible proof in favor of the landings. It became abundantly clear from this illuminating documentary that the conspiracy argument is based on faulty "common sense", whereas the evidence in favor of the landings is rooted in cold, hard fact.
So either NASA has managed to trick the entire world and its best scientific minds with the most elaborate, detailed hoax in human history, or people actually did walk on the Moon. I refer you to the principle of Occam's Razor, which essentially states that the best answer to a question is the one with the fewest assumptions. By that standard, there are simply too many wild assumptions for the hoax theory to be reasonable.
I challenge you to research your hypothesis. I am confident that you will realize that it is based on incorrect assumptions and misinformation. There is a reason why no reputable scientist argues against the Moon landings. While it is good that you do not blindly accept what is told to you, it is foolish to ignore such overwhelming scientific evidence.

NASA is not trying to prove anything. They've provided the evidence at the time, and now they do other things. They can't accept it was fake for the simple reason that it was not.
Have you seen the film and video? Have you read the personal testimonies of the individuals involved? Have you studied the photographs properly? Or have you just read a book by a conspiracy theorist and accepted what they say blindly?

I wasn't aware NASA was trying to prove anything. Do you really think they care if you believe them or not?
But I would recommend that you not take any long voyages. You might fall off the edge of the world... or get eaten by sea serpents.

For all those who just "know" that the Moon landings were faked PLEASE contact me. I have some great investment opportunities for you in some awesome "waterfront" property in southern Florida. If you believe the landings were faked without ever being given irrefutable proof, you'll believe anything. So, believe me, it'll be a great investment if you just give me all your money.

the hoax believers are trying to prove that it was fake. why they do this i don't know, their arguements don't even agree with each other let alone any bit of scientific evidence. only idiots fall for that baloney.

Hello dear!
In democracy (Classic Athens) if one would not advice the Demos (state) the perfect, he was to be executed!
Then, if one lies to the state, definitely was the best advice!
TOday, all are speaking nothing true and still they continue governing, this is a proof that there is no democracy!
Most officials claim they landed on the Moon, others deny it!
The President speaks on TV saying god told him to attack Iraq!
and so many instances and those people continue being on power!
Well, we want the truth away, we get it!

Get a clue, educate yourself, and do some real research. We went, and the only one trying to prove anything is you, and your ignorant, hoax theory brethren.
