(sometimes therapy doesn't do the trick.)

There are psychiatric hospitals. I'm not sure rehab is the word you're looking for. You're right, sometimes therapy isn't all you need, but sometimes all the hospitals do is drug you up and send you on your merry way. I checked myself in for depression years ago, and that's exactly what they did. It was at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, TN, a very well-known and respected medical center. So be cautious when choosing if that's the route you decide you need to go. If you don't feel like it's helping, go to a different one. If you're not on meds you may need to be, and if you are, they may need to be adjusted some to complement your therapy. Don't stop the therapy. It can only help.

Good luck to ya! Get better!

Have you tried Cognitive Behavioural Therapy? It’s different from traditional therapy. It basically ‘retrains’ the brain. It takes quite a bit of effort, but is well worth it.

You could speak to your doctor about taking a course or you can take a course for free online at http://www.livinglifetothefull.com/elearning/ (A ‘prettier’ version of this type of programme can be bought at www.thewellnessshop.co.uk). You could also try the book the Feeling Good Handbook by Dr Robert Burns which basically teaches CBT.

Good luck! Hope it all works out. :)
